The Executive Program in Management from Columbia Business School Executive Education enables you to learn and apply an integrated view of leadership, strategy, global business acumen, and digital business strategies.

Through in-person and online sessions, you will explore a cutting-edge curriculum that will enable you to transition into a senior management role with enhanced leadership skills.

Program Curriculum

A multimodal learning experience, the Executive Program in Management delves into various aspects needed at a management level, including leading change, strategic intuition, and business analytics. The comprehensive curriculum provides live online, online, and in-person sessions by Ivy League faculty. Participants will also be exposed to a host of engaging online guest lectures with leading industry executives. Meet the Faculty

Faculty Member Murray B. Low

Murray B. Low

Faculty Director, Executive Program in Management

Murray Low is an experienced entrepreneur and a leading authority on entrepreneurship in independent, corporate, and not-for-profit settings. As the founder of the Columbia Entrepreneurship Program, he has worked to make entrepreneurship a viable career option for Master's in Business Administration (MBA) graduates. As the co-director of IE@Columbia, he has worked with faculty, students, and staff across the University to spread innovation and entrepreneurship. He has also led initiatives to improve business education in developing countries, particularly in Africa. Low provides consultations to small and large companies, family businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. He teaches executive seminars in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation and makes frequent presentations to academic and industry groups. He has been published widely in academic and practitioner journals and is a regular commentator in the media. Low is an active advisor, board member, and angel investor.

Upon completion of the Executive Program in Management, participants are awarded the Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School Executive Education. The certificate is a recognition of their achievement and the investment they and their organization have made in their education and development.

Note: Sessions are subject to change.
*For participants who are unable to obtain a US visa on time, the in-person modules will be available in the hybrid mode, with simultaneous live online streaming via Zoom (or a similar platform). There will be no program fee concession, and in-person sessions will not be recorded. Hybrid sessions require 100 percent mandatory attendance, so please consider the time difference before choosing this mode. Please note that you will need to submit proof of visa appointment interview date delay to opt for the hybrid mode. This option is not available to participants holding a valid US visa. We recommend that participants make all efforts to attend the in-person modules as they are not designed for a hybrid experience.

  • Unlike an Executive MBA, the Executive Program in Management is a certificate program, ideal for more experienced candidates who are interested in taking on leadership roles in their organizations.
