The capstone project is a key aspect of the program learning experience. As part of a small group, participants will apply their learnings from the online, live online, and on-campus sessions to solve a business problem.
The problem can be a real-world problem that a group member is facing in their organization or a new business idea that a group member is developing. Applicants to the Executive Program in Management must submit an online application that includes essays based on their professional journey. The application fees vary by rounds, and applying earlier helps your chances of being accepted into the program.
Program fees for Emeritus programs with Columbia Business School Executive Education may not be paid for with Title IV financial aid funds. Participants may be able to pay the program fee with funds from the GI Bill, the Post-9/11 Educational Assistance Act of 2008, or similar types of military education funding benefits. Participants must contact the Columbia University’s Office of Military and Veterans Affairs to determine benefit eligibility.
